Lele's in Hackney | Vegan Food in London

Lele’s sits on Lower Clapton Road in Hackney, a neighbourhood that keeps sprouting new places to eat. It was discovered during ELCAF, the illustration and graphic novel festival held in the church a couple of doors along. Inside, the café is bright and full of greenery. Space is tight, with small tables pushed close together, but the food more than makes up for it. The menu is entirely vegetarian and vegan, and the potato, rosemary and cheese toasty is excellent, as is the fresh juice. Lele’s has since switched to a fully vegan menu.
